Quick Overnighter outside of Bend
My friend Haley, a former roomate and now grad student at Corvalis was in town this last weekend. Since I don’t have any personal bikes to fit a 5ft tall person she grabbed the 14 inch demo Fatback, threw some gear on the OMM rack and pedaled from the shop up past a shelter cabin just above snowline between Bend and Mt. Bachelor.
We stopped in at the shelter cabin before finding a spot to camp. I get the impression we were the first people by there since big winter snow falls.
Somebody left a little present on the stove. We’re not exactly the right crowd to enjoy it, so I guess the next vistors will get a little suprise.

Reflective rim strips
We set up all our wheels with reflective rim strips. It’s pretty amazing stuff. Here’s a good example of it lighting up.
